Welcome Back!

What a wirlwind the last few months have been. I apologize I have not been able to write very much. I hope to change that starting today. What's been going on in my life? We'll I've created a top 10 list. Enjoy.

1. Tim and I bought our first home on 104 Wallaby Way. It's a perfect 3 bedroom, 2 bath. We love it!

2. I turned 25 years old. I had a great time celebrating with a group of amazing friends. I felt very blessed this year.

3. We had shower after shower after shower. What a fun time. I had great showers thrown by some amazing people: my aunt Joanna, my best friend Mal, my Women's Network group and my lovely co-workers. Below are a few pictures...

Wedding Ideas

I have been thinking about what to do with a guest book. I've seen a lot of cute ideas where the couple have their guests write down "wishes/advice/dreams" for the couple. I really liked this idea, but in reality, I don't think guests have time at the actual wedding to write down something thoughtful or witty. I found a great idea. Instead of having little sheets of paper at the actual wedding, this couple sent cards out in their invitations and had people write back with their RSVP. I like this idea because then people have time to think about what they want to say. It also doesn't cause any congestion at the wedding. This couple even posted their favorite ones at the reception.



Instead of having invidual place cards, this couple made a cute board with table assignments. Each table is named after something different relating to the couple. I'm still thinking of fun table names for Tim and I but I like the idea of having a board like this.

Best Idea Ever

Whoever thought of Martini and Manicure night should be awarded some kind of prize. I recently got together with a bunch of girlfriends at Room38 for martini's and manicures. It's only $15. What a fun night!

FIRST HOME

Tim and I bought our first home! What a stressful, exciting, scary, amazing experience. We had the amazing help and support from our parents. Move-in day wouldn't have gone as smooth without them. We have most of the unpacking done. We also purchased our first washer and dryer set. Here are a few pictures - more to come over the next year or so as we continue to add and hang stuff.

Last Mizzou Game

Tim and I were fortunate to get Football Tickets to the last Mizzou Football Game against Iowa State. We WON! We had a great time tailgating with Emily and CJ's family.

Trip to Herman

Emily and I went to Herman, MO - Wine Country. What a fun trip. We left in the morning and took the train from Jefferson City. We visited the Hermonoff, a winery and the Tin Mill, a local brewery. It was a wonderful day, filled with old friends and new friends. Here are a few pictures.
